Yesterday we had this year's Christmas Party for our residents' friends and family. Although most will think that this is early in the year for a Christmas party, this is one of our bi-annual social occasions where staff and residents' families and friends can meet together. The Christmas Party marks the beginning of the seasonal festivities. Entertainment and food was provided and we had a lot of help from friends and staff at Hainault. Photos can be found here.

We have recently had our annual Garden Party. Although the weather wasn't ideal on the day we had lots of help and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Photos of the day can be found here.

Since last year, we have had a very successful Christmas season and at the time of writing there are no residential vacancies. However, I have noticed that in some listings web sites, we are listed as merely en suite, whereas others seem to any number of superfluous services attributed to them. For the record:

WE DO have a large garden for residents to enjoy, WE DO have visits from a local hairdresser and chiropodist, WE DO have close links and visits from local clergy, WE DO(at no extra charge) perform all the necessary laundry, WE DO provide menus suitable for all diets including vegetarian, WE DO (as per the national care regulations) provide care staff on a 24 hour basis and WE DO provide care outside this remit where appropriate.

Hainault Residential Home remains dedicated to looking after the welfare of the elderly in our care and meeting all their needs.

For all those who have emailed us; although we have occasionally failed to get back to some, we have always checked our mailbox regularly and have been grateful for the mail we have recieved.

However; for those who would like to contact us, the preferred methods are by telephone or post. For those who do use email, please ensure that there are no attachments on your email and are in plain text so they will not be treated as suspicious.
